I don't know what I'd do in your situation. Probably cry a lot. Most of my books are practically irreplaceable.
Please post a list of the lost titles, when you've figured that out. I'll be happy to scour my shelves for free replacements. Oh, man, losing the Westlakes, that's just too sad. But God has good taste.
You misunderstand. All my Westlake and Stark's came through the fire unscathed, despite being scattered in different places on different shelves. It's a minor miracle.
Well, that's a relief! But then, so many others still lost. The offer holds.
